Sharks acquire Raffi Torres from Coyotes @NHLdotcom

The San Jose Sharks have acquired forward Raffi Torres from the Phoenix Coyotes for a third-round draft choice.

Torres, 31, has five goals and 12 points in 28 games this season for the Coyotes. He was suspended at the start of the season because of a hit against Chicago Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa during the 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Torres had at least 14 goals and 26 points in each of the three previous seasons.

For his career, Torres has 132 goals and 249 points in 619 NHL games.
