CHILLIWACK, B.C. - Shane McColgan's second of the night early in the third period was the difference as the Kelowna Rockets downed the Chilliwack Bruins 2-1 in Western Hockey League action Friday.
Brandon McMillan picked up two assists for the Rockets.
After a scoreless first, Dylen McKinlay opened the scoring for the Bruins (11-13-5) in the second.
McColgan's first of the game came just under six minutes later to knot the game 1-1 heading to the third.
Adam Brown made 32 saves for Kelowna (13-13-1) to pick up the win, while Mark Freisen stopped 27 shots in defeat.
