Shalla with three points to lead the Spirit over the Majors 4-2
NHL.com @NHLSAGINAW, Mich. - Josh Shalla scored once and set up two more as the Saginaw Spirit defeated the visiting Mississauga St. Michael's Majors 4-2 on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League action.
Vincent Trocheck had a goal and an assist for the Spirit (18-21-4), who snapped a three-game losing streak, while Brad Walch and Michael Fine scored the others.
Justin Rasmussen and Scott Teskey scored for the Majors (19-18-6), who sit last in the Central Division.
Clint Windsor made 30 saves for the win as Spencer Martin turned away 21 shots in defeat.
Saginaw went 3 for 4 on the power play while Mississauaga failed to score on six chances with the man advantage.
