BARRIE, Ont. - Michael Sgarbossa had a goal and two assists to lead the Sudbury Wolves past the Barrie Colts 6-5 in Ontario Hockey League action on Saturday.
Brody Silk scored a pair for Sudbury (12-10-1) while Gregory Jambrosich, Matthew Campagna and Nathan Pancel added singles.
Daniel Erlich, Gregg Sutch, Tanner Pearson, Norm Ezekiel and Aaron Ekblad replied for the Colts (13-9-3), who saw their five-game winning streak snapped in the loss.
Pearson, who also added an assist, now leads the OHL with 56 points, and is currently riding a league-best 12-game point streak.
Johan Mattsson turned aside 51 shots for Sudbury in the victory while Barrie?s Alex Fotinos, making his first career OHL start, stopped 20 shots in defeat.
The Wolves went 2-for-4 on the power play and picked up a short-handed marker. Barrie finished the night at 2-for-7.
