Sgarbossa scores a hat trick to lead the Wolves past the Storm 6-3 @NHLdotcom

GUELPH, Ont. - Michael Sgarbossa scored three goals and added an assist as the Sudbury Wolves defeated the Guelph Storm 6-3 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Nicholas Baptiste, Andrey Kuchin and Nathan Pancel also scored for the Wolves (9-8-1).

Both Kyle Pereira and Tanner Richard had a goal and an assist while Spencer Turcotte added a single goal to round out the Storm (8-7-3) scoring.

Joel Vienneau stopped 22 shots for the win.

Garret Sparks started in net for Guelph, but after allowing three goals on 12 shots, Brandon Foote took over for the final two periods, making 18 saves on 20 shots.

The Wolves went 1-for-7 on the power play while the Storm scored on two of their six opportunities with the man advantage.
