Senators recall Ryan Shannon from Binghamton @NHL

OTTAWA (AP) -The struggling Ottawa Senators recalled right wing Ryan Shannon from the team's American Hockey League affiliate Wednesday.

Shannon played two games for Ottawa earlier this season, recording one assist. He is currently tied for Binghamton's scoring lead with 35 points, despite missing 11 games.

Shannon won the 2007 Stanley Cup as a member of the Anaheim Ducks, who beat Ottawa in five games.

In 82 career NHL games, Shannon has seven goals, 18 assists and 34 penalty minutes.
