by Chris Stevenson /

OTTAWA -- Ottawa Senators defenseman Jared Cowen will not play against the New York Rangers on Saturday because of an undisclosed injury (1 p.m.ET; MSG, RDS, TSN5).

Patrick Wiercioch, who was a healthy scratch against the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday, will take Cowen's place in the lineup.

Craig Anderson will start in goal for the Senators; Henrik Lundqvist will be in the Rangers' net.

Forward Dominic Moore is expected to replace Emerson Etem in the Rangers lineup.
