Senators assign Gerber to Binghamton @NHLdotcom
OTTAWA – Ottawa Senators general manager Bryan Murray announced today the club has assigned goaltender Martin Gerber to the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

Gerber, 34, has four wins, nine losses and an overtime loss this season. He has posted a 2.86 goals-against average and .899 save percentage in 14 games. He last saw action with the Senators in a 6-4 loss to the Bruins in Boston on Jan. 8.

In three games during a conditioning assignment with the B-Sens, Gerber posted a 2-1-0 record with a 2.37 goals-against average and a .935 save percentage. In his last game, he made 32 saves in Binghamton’s 3-0 victory over the Philadelphia Phantoms on Wednesday, Jan 21.
