Seguin and Hayes both score twice as Plymouth cruises to 11-3 win over Sarnia

SARNIA, Ont. - Tyler Seguin and Ryan Hayes both scored twice and added an assist as the Plymouth Whalers crushed the Sarnia Sting 11-3 in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday afternoon.

Robbie Czarnik and Stefan Noesen had a goal and two assists for Plymouth (36-22-2). Jay Gilbert, Tyler Brown, Garrett Meurs, Beau Schmitz and Jamie Devane chipped in with singles.

Goaltender Matt Hackett made 26 saves for the win.

Nathan Chiarlitti, Brett Ritchie and Jesse Stoughton supplied the offence for Sarnia (16-40-4).

Shayne Campbell started in net for the Sting, stopping 12 of 16 shots before being replaced by Jesse Raymond. Raymond made 20 saves on 27 chances.

The Whalers have now won four in a row.
