Seattle scores four in the third period in 6-4 comeback win against Tri-City @NHLdotcom

KENT, Wash. - Chris Lund and Brad Haber both scored the first goal of their WHL careers, and the Seattle Thunderbirds scored four times in the third period to rally a 6-4 comeback victory over the Tri-City Americans on Sunday.

The Thunderbirds outshot the Americans 19-2 in the third period to get their first win against Tri-City this season in six tries.

The Americans (31-13-0-3) went ahead 3-0 in the first 10 minutes of the game on goals by Mitch Fadden, Brooks Macek and Brendan Schinniman.

Seattle (20-22-1-3) cut it to 3-1 on a score by Greg Scott in the second period before Jason Reese gave Tri-City a 4-1 advantage.

Seattle cut the lead to two on a score by Prab Rai late in the second period before Haber, Devon LeBlanc, Lund and Jonathan Parker scored in the third period for the T-birds.

Thunderbirds goalie Jacob De Serres made 26 saves for the win, while at the other end Chet Pickard stopped 38.
