The Seattle Kraken celebrated Indigenous Peoples Night on Monday and they were dressed for the occasion during warmups.

Kraken players wore amazing blue jerseys with red and blue designs inspired by Karuk basketry, and a gold-and-black pattern featured inside the team's "S" logo.

The eye-catching jerseys were created by Karuk artist

, whose focus has been reinterperting Karuk Basketry art into modern day mediums.

The Karuk are one of the largest tribes in California, located in the upper northwest corner of the state.
