Scott scores twice to help the Thunderbirds ground the Winter Hawks 3-1 @NHLdotcom

KENT, Wash. - Greg Scott scored his 16th and 17th goals of the season to help the Seattle Thunderbirds to a 3-1 victory over the Portland Winter Hawks in Western Hockey League action Saturday night.

Jim O'Brien also scored late for Seattle (21-24-1-3).

Max Brandl scored his first goal of the season for the Winter Hawks (12-31-1-2).

Calvin Pickard made 25 saves for the Thunderbirds. Portland netminder Kurtis Mucha stopped 31 shots.
