Scott Jackson scores the winning goal as Seattle defeats Everett 2-1 @NHLdotcom

EVERETT, Wash. - Scott Jackson, in his first game back from injury, scored the game-winning goal early in the third period as the Seattle Thunderbirds defeated the Everett Silvertips 2-1 Friday night in Western Hockey League action.

Jackson wristed a shot that snuck under Everett goaltender Shayne Barrie's arm. Greg Scott also scored for Seattle (11-9-4-1), which held Everett to a 12 shots on goal. Riku Helenius made 11 stops to earn the win.

Clayton Bauer scored and Barrie made 16 saves for Everett (14-13-0-2), which lost its fourth straight.
