BARRIE, Ont. - Samuel Schutt scored the winner with 4:51 left in the third period to lift the Sudbury Wolves to a 5-3 victory over the host Barrie Colts on Wednesday in Ontario Hockey League action.
Joshua Leivo scored a pair of goals for the Wolves (20-12-3) while Kristoff Kontos and Brody Silk added singles.
Steven Beyers replied with two goals for the Colts (21-14-3) while Ryan O?Connor, in his first game since being re-acquired by Barrie, had the other.
Joel Vienneau made 30 saves for the win while Alex Fotinos stopped 22 shots in defeat.
Mathias Niederberger started the game in goal for the Colts and stopped all eight shots he faced, but had to leave the contest due to injury.
Sudbury went 0 for 4 on the power play as Barrie scored once on four opportunities with the man advantage.
The Wolves have now defeated the Colts 11 times since the beginning of the 2010-11 season, going 11-2-0 over that stretch.
