Scheifele scored winner, Colts double up Storm 4-2 @NHLdotcom

BARRIE, Ont. - Mark Scheifele scored the game winner 6:35 into the third period as the Barrie Colts defeated the visiting Guelph Storm 4-2 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Colin Behenna, Tanner Pearson and Erik Bradford also scored for the Colts (24-17-3) while Steven Beyers chipped in with three assists.

Tyler Bertuzzi and Scott Kosmachuk responded for the Storm (18-19-5), who lost to Barrie for just the second time in five seasons.

Mathias Niederberger, making his first start in two and a half weeks due to injury, turned aside 23 shots for the win as Garret Sparks made 41 saves in defeat.

Barrie?s power play, ranked second in the league, went 3 for 8 while Guelph finished the game 1 for 7.
