Schappert puts away go-ahead goal in Seattle's 2-1 win over Kamloops

SEATTLE - Josh Schappert broke a 1-1 tie with his second goal of the season in the third period to lift Seattle to a 2-1 win over the Kamloops Blazers Saturday in WHL action.

Jeremy Boyer gave Seattle a 1-0 lead in the second period with a power-play goal - his fourth goal in the last two games.

Juuso Puustinen evened it for Kamloops with a goal at 2:38 of the third.

Seattle (4-0-1-1) got 25 saves from rookie goaltender Riku Helenius. Kamloops (3-4-1-0) was 0-for-5 on the power play.
