ST. PAUL, Minn. - Tyler Seguin scored at 3:57 of overtime, and the Dallas Stars came back from a three-goal deficit to beat the Minnesota Wild 4-3 on Saturday night.

Alex Goligoski, Jamie Benn and John Klingberg scored for Dallas in the third period. Seguin, Benn and Klingberg each had one assist, and Cody Eakin had two assists.

Antti Niemi made 23 saves as the Stars won for the fifth time in six games.

Jason Pominville ended the longest goalless streak of his career with his first goal of the season, and Thomas Vanek and Charlie Coyle also scored for the Wild. Minnesota lost for the fifth time in six games.

Darcy Kuemper made 40 saves for Minnesota.


TORONTO (AP) ? Jason Chimera had a goal and an assist, and Washington earned its fifth straight victory.

Tom Wilson, Marcus Johansson and Justin Williams also scored for the Capitals, who improved to 7-2-0 on the road and 17-5-1 overall. Braden Holtby made 32 saves.

It was the third straight loss for last-place Toronto. Peter Holland and Leo Komarov scored for the Maple Leafs, and Jonathan Bernier made 19 saves in his first start in nearly two weeks ??? starter James Reimer sat with a lower-body injury.


MONTREAL (AP) ??? Defenceman John Moore scored in overtime, and the Devils rallied for the road win.

Patrik Elias and Kyle Palmieri also scored for New Jersey (12-9-2). In his first career game at the Bell Centre, Corey Schneider stopped 29 shots.

Alex Galchenyuk scored twice for Montreal (18-4-3). Mike Condon made 28 saves while subbing for injured starter Carey Price.

New Jersey bounced back nicely from Friday's 3-2 loss to Montreal, when the Canadiens rallied from two goals down to beat the Devils in a shootout in the first game of their home-and-home series.

After Palmieri tied it with 22 seconds remaining in the third period, Moore beat Condon on a breakaway at 2:29 of overtime.


ST. LOUIS (AP) ??? Scottie Upshall scored in the third period to lead St. Louis to the win.

Vladimir Tarasenko scored his 14th goal for the Blues (15-6-3), who were 3-3-2 over their last eight games. Alexander Steen added an empty-netter, and Jake Allen made 23 saves.

Ryan Johansen scored and Sergei Bobrovsky made 29 saves for the Blue Jackets (10-15-0), who had won three of four and six of their last eight.

Upshall put the Blues ahead with 13:58 remaining on a wrist shot from the edge of the left circle. The goal, assisted by David Backes, was the fourth of the season for Upshall.


PITTSBURGH (AP) ??? Matt Hendricks and Jordan Eberle scored in a shootout, powering Edmonton to its first win at Pittsburgh since Jan. 10, 2006.

Hendricks deked around Penguins goaltender Jeff Zatkoff to start the shootout, and then Eberle put a quick shot between Zatkoff's legs. Oilers goaltender Anders Nilsson stopped David Perron and Sidney Crosby.

Leon Draisaitl and Lauri Korpikoski scored in the first period for the Oilers, who ended a five-game road losing streak and three-game skid overall.

After Edmonton led 2-0, Pittsburgh's Evgeni Malkin scored his 10th and 11th goals early in the second. The Penguins dropped their second straight and third in four games overall.


NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) ????????? Sam Reinhart scored twice to send Buffalo to its second straight win.

Jamie McGinn and Ryan O'Reilly also scored for the Sabres, and Chad Johnson made 28 saves.

Mike Fisher had Nashville's only goal. The Predators have dropped five of their last six.

Nashville goaltender Juuse Saros made 20 saves in his NHL debut.


TAMPA, Fla. (AP) ????????? John Tavares scored a tiebreaking power-play goal in the third period, leading the Islanders to the road win.

Tavares put the Islanders ahead during a goalmouth scramble with 3:36 left. New York scored twice on the power play after entering with just two on the road this season.

Josh Bailey and Cal Clutterbuck also scored for New York, which was coming off a 3-2 loss Friday night at Florida, a game that the Panthers won in a five-round shootout.

Alex Killorn and Anton Stralman scored for the Lightning. Steven Stamkos had two assists.


NEW YORK (AP) ????????? Wayne Simmonds had two goals and an assist, and Steve Mason made 24 saves for the Flyers' fourth shutout this season.

Sean Couturier also scored for Philadelphia, which has won two straight. It was the Flyers' first win at Madison Square Garden since Feb. 20, 2011.

Following a strong start to the season, New York has dropped three in a row.

Antti Raanta made 31 saves for the Rangers.
