Saskatoon Blades rally to 4-3 playoff win over Brandon; tie series 2-2 @NHLdotcom

BRANDON, Man. - The Saskatoon Blades scored three times in the third period to defeat the Brandon Wheat Kings 4-3 and tie their Western Hockey League playoff series on Friday night.

Derek Hulak, Walker Wintoneak and Jeremy Boyer, with an empty-net goal, all scored in the third as the Blades evened their best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinal 2-2. Marek Viedensky also scored for Saskatoon.

Aaron Lewadniuk, Colby Robak and Brayden Schenn replied for the Wheat Kings, who host Game 5 on Saturday.

Saskatoon netminder Steven Stanford made 31 saves, while Jacob DeSerres stopped 26 shots for Brandon.
