Saskatoon Blades beat Red Deer Rebels 4-2 in WHL action @NHLdotcom

SASKATOON - Matej Stransky had two goals and an assist Friday as the Saskatoon Blades defeated the Red Deer Rebels 4-2 in the Western Hockey League.

Lukas Sutter and Jake Trask, into an empty net, had the other goals for Saskatoon (3-0-0), which got 31 saves from Andrey Makarov.

Daulton Siwak and Tyson Ness replied for Red Deer (2-1-0), while Chad Robinson added two assists.

Patrik Bartosak made 31 saves in taking the loss.
