Sarnia goes 3-for-5 with the man-advantage to power past Kitchener 3-2

KITCHENER, Ont. - The Sarnia Sting scored three times on five power-play opportunities to put the Kitchener Rangers back in the loss column with a 3-2 victory on Friday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

Steve Ferry scored the eventual game-winner midway through the third period. Ben O'Quinn and Matt Martin also scored for Sarnia (17-15-2-2). Justin DiBenedetto and Jamie Arniel had two assists each.

Jeff Skinner and Dan Kelly replied for the Rangers (14-17-1-1), who have lost seven of their past eight games. Their only win during that span came on Thursday against the league-leading Windsor Spitfires.

Dan Spence made 33 saves for the Sting, while Kitchener netminder Parker Van Buskirk stopped 40 shots.
