Santorelli caps big weekend with three points as Bruins beat Rockets 3-1 @NHLdotcom

CHILLIWACK, B.C. - Mark Santorelli capped arguably his finest weekend in the Western Hockey League with two goals and an assist in the Chilliwack Bruins' 3-1 win over the Kelowna Rockets.

Santorelli scored the first two goals of the game, including the game winner, and added an assist on Oscar Moller's league leading 25th goal of the season.

Matt Esposito made 17 saves and won his 14th game of the season for the Bruins (16-12-3-0), matching his career high set last season.

Santorelli had seven goals and two assists for nine points in three Bruins victories this weekend. He leads the WHL in scoring with 16 goals and 38 assists for 54 points, nine more than second-place Moller.

Colin Long scored and Kristopher Westblom made 30 saves for the Rockets (16-10-2-2).
