Sanguinetti's shootout goal lifts Brampton to 3-2 win over Belleville @NHL

BRAMPTON, Ont. - Bobby Sanguinetti scored the shootout winner as the Brampton Battalion rallied to defeat the Belleville Bulls 3-2 in Ontario Hockey League action on Sunday.

After a scoreless opening 20 minutes, Tyler Randell put Belleville (6-1-0-1) on the board at the 7:54 mark of the second period.

Then at 16:46, Matt Beleskey doubled the lead for Bellville on the power play, firing a wrist shot that eluded Brampton (5-3-0-1) goalie Bryan Pitton.

Brampton's comeback began with the man advantage at 9:56 of the third, when John Hughes slipped a loose puck past Edward Pasquale from the side of the net.

Just 1:04 later, Cody Hodgson tied the game and sent it into the shootout.

Despite taking the loss, Pasquale was named the game's first star for his 45-save effort.
