Head Coach Lindy Ruff said the netminder suffered no setbacks yesterday in a full practice with the team and is within days of returning to the lineup.

"He reacted well, he had a good day," Ruff said. "He's coming along quick now."

Miller has missed the last 12 games after suffering a high-ankle sprain on Feb. 21 against the New York Rangers. In that span the Sabres have had a 3-7-2 record.

He participated in team's full workout Monday and continued to show improvement Tuesday at HSBC Arena.

"He looks good, he's moving well in the net," Derek Roy said. "It's great to see a competitor like him back at it, working hard... he's a warrior out there."
