NHL fans can start early and stay late on Saturday.

The day's 10-game schedule gets under way with a pair of games at 1 p.m. ET. Buffalo continues its seven-game road trip with a visit to Philadelphia in a game between teams that lost 3-2 on Thursday. Buffalo fell in overtime at Carolina, while the Flyers lost in regulation to Toronto at home. Also at 1, St. Louis tries to rebound from a 3-2 loss at Washington on Thursday when it visits the New York Islanders, a 4-1 winner against Minnesota on Wednesday.

The action then moves West, where the Los Angeles Kings host the Vancouver Canucks at 4 p.m. ET. The surging Kings come off a 1-0 win against Phoenix on Thursday, while the Canucks start a road trip after a 3-0 home loss to Nashville the same night.

The rest of the day's action takes place after the sun goes down, including four games that begin at 7 p.m. ET.

In Boston, the Bruins will try for their eighth win in a row when they host Pittsburgh, a 2-1 overtime loser at New Jersey on Friday. The Bruins extended their streak by beating Tampa Bay 2-1 on Thursday. The game can be seen in the United States on the NHL Network.

Chicago visits Toronto in an Original Six matchup that's also the first half of CBC's Hockey Night in Canada doubleheader. Montreal, a 4-0 winner at Florida on Thursday, visits Tampa Bay in a game that can be seen in Canada on RDS and regionally on CBC, while the Panthers visit Atlanta, a 3-1 loser to Ottawa in its last game on Thursday.

At 8 p.m. ET, Detroit concludes a five-game trip in Glendale, Ariz., against the Phoenix Coyotes. The Wings have dropped their last two, including a 3-1 loss at San Jose on Thursday.

Edmonton visits Colorado at 10 p.m. ET in the back end of the Hockey Night in Canada doubleheader. The Oilers beat Columbus 4-2 on Thursday -- but lost star rookie Taylor Hall for the season with a high ankle sprain. Colorado, idle since a 2-1 loss at San Jose on Tuesday, has dropped 13 of 14.

In the last game of the night, San Jose tries for its ninth in a row when the Dallas Stars come to HP Pavilion.
