Ryan Russell scores twice as Bulldogs beat Penguins 4-1 @NHL

HAMILTON - Ryan Russell scored twice and the Hamilton Bulldogs put three past the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in the third period to win 4-1 in AHL action Saturday.

Brock Trotter and Tyler Shelast also scored for the Bulldogs, who improved to 35-20-2-0.

Aaron Boogaard opened the scoring in the second period with the Penguins lone goal. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (36-17-1-2) remained three points back on East Division-leading Hersey Bears

Hamilton goaltender Marc Denis made 26 saves for the win, while at the other end John Curry stopped 27 shots.
