Ryan Letts scores twice as Spokane cruises past Portland 5-1 @NHLdotcom

PORTLAND, Ore. - Ryan Letts scored a pair of goals to lead the Spokane Chiefs over the Portland Winter Hawks 5-1 in Western Hockey League play on Friday night.

Letts had a power-play goal in the second period and his second at even strength. Spokane (5-1-2-0) also got goals from Levko Koper, Trevor Glass, Tyler Johnson, and Steve Kuhn. Glass and Koper each added an assist, while Stefan Ulmer and Johnson added two assists.

Luke Walker and Travis Ehrhardt replied for Portland (1-5-0-0).

Chief goalie Dustin Tokarski made 23 saves for the win, while Kurtis Mucha stopped 31 shots.
