Ryan Howse scores three times to lead Bruins over Cougars 5-2 in WHL action @NHLdotcom

CHILLIWACK, B.C. - Prince George native Ryan Howse scored three times against his hometown team to help the Chilliwack Bruins to a 5-2 victory over the Cougars in Western Hockey League action Wednesday.

Howse, a 19-year-old Calgary Flames draft pick, leads the WHL with 33 goals. Brandon Manning and Jamie Crooks also scored for the Bruins.

Taylor Orser and Dallas Jackson replied for the Cougars, who were limited to 19 shots against Bruins goaltender Lucas Gore.

Alex Wright faced 29 shots for Prince George as the Cougars saw their record drop to a league-worst 9-30-2. Chilliwack's record sits at 19-18-6.
