PITTSBURGH -- Tampa Bay Lightning right wing Ryan Callahan was a late scratch for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Final at Consol Energy Center on Monday (8 p.m. ET; NBCSN, CBC, TVA Sports) because of the flu.
He did not take the ice for pregame warmups, and the Lightning said shortly before game time that he was ill.
Defenseman Anton Stralman returned to the lineup for Game 2.
Callahan did not have a point in 14:16 of ice time in Tampa Bay's 3-1 win in Game 1 on Friday, and took a major penalty for boarding in the first period.
He has one goal and two assists in 11 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
