Russo scores twice to lead Mississauga-St. MichaelÂ's over Peterborough 7-4 @NHLdotcom

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - Michael Russo scored twice as the Mississauga-St. Michael's Majors fired four unanswered goals en route to a 7-4 win over the Peterborough Petes in OHL action Thursday.

Cameron Gaunce and Jared Gomes had a goal and two assists each for the Majors (1-1-0-0). William Wallen, Mike Pelech and Ryan Lopes also scored for Mississauga.

Ryan Spooner led the Petes (1-2-0-0) with two goals while Tony Romano and Yves Bastien had singles.

J.P. Anderson stopped 17 of 18 shots after replacing starting goalie Chris Carrozzi, who surrendered three goals on 11 shots.

Trevor Cann took the loss after allowing six goals on 32 shots.
