Chicago Blackhawks defenseman David Rundblad took the Stanley Cup to a school in Skelleftea, Sweden, where the native of Lycksele signed autographs for kids Thursday.
Rundblad, 24, had three goals, 11 assists and a career-best plus-17 rating in 49 games with the Blackhawks last season. He appeared in five Stanley Cup Playoff games en route to winning the Cup for the first time.
A first-round pick (No. 17) of the St. Louis Blues in the 2009 NHL Draft, Rundblad has four goals and 23 points in 104 NHL games with the Ottawa Senators, Phoenix Coyotes and Blackhawks. He agreed to terms on a two-year contract with Chicago on June 29.
