Royals trade Sundher to Wheat Kings for Fransoo, Conroy and a draft pick

VICTORIA - The Victoria Royals sent centre Kevin Sundher to the Brandon Wheat Kings on Monday in a trade for defenceman Jordan Fransoo, forward Dakota Conroy and a first-round pick in the 2012 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.

The 19-year-old Sundher has 90 goals and 241 assists in 255 games with the Chilliwack Bruins/Victoria Royals franchise.

Fransoo is an Ottawa Senators prospect drafted in the seventh round, 186th overall, in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. The 18-year-old has two goals and nine assists in 41 games with Brandon this season.

Conroy, 17, is currently playing in his first full WHL season and has recorded eight points in 37 games.
