Rookie Horak has goal and assist as Calgary Flames win 3-1 over Blues @NHLdotcom

CALGARY - Roman Horak had a goal and an assist and Miikka Kiprusoff made 28 saves as the Calgary Flames won 3-1 Friday night over the St. Louis Blues.

It was the second straight two-point game for the the 20-year-old rookie, who notched his first NHL goal in Wednesday night?s 4-2 victory over Colorado.

Tom Kostopoulos and Olli Jokinen, into an empty net, also scored for Calgary (4-4-1). The Flames improve to 3-1-1 on its season-long homestand with one game remaining, next Tuesday against the Vancouver Canucks.

Alex Steen scored his sixth of the year for St. Louis (5-5-0), which see its three-game winning streak snapped, will wrap up its four-game road trip Sunday night in Edmonton.
