Romano scores overtime winner as Peterborough shades Sarnia 4-3 @NHLdotcom

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - Tony Romano's goal 4:12 into overtime gave the Peterborough Petes a 4-3 win over Sarnia Sting in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday.

Zack Kassian had a goal and two assists, and set up the game winner as the Petes (5-9-0-1) halted a three-game losing streak. Zach Harnden and Ryan Spooner also scored for Peterborough.

Mark Katic, Chris Beauchamp and Jamie Arniel scored for Sarnia (5-6-1-1) who saw a three-game winning streak come to an end.

Jason Missiaen stopped 45 shots for the win while Dan Spence stopped 34 shots in his Sarnia debut after being acquired from the WHL's Calgary Hitmen.
