Predators place Roman Josi on injured reserve

Nashville defenseman sustained upper-body injury Thursday

Nashville Predators defenseman Roman Josi was placed on injured reserve Friday.

Josi was injured in a 2-1 win against the Boston Bruins on Thursday after a hit by Bruins forward Anton Blidh at 15:31 of the first period. Josi left the game, and Blidh received a major for interference.

Josi, 26, has 22 points (five goals, 17 assists) in 42 games this season.

Nashville also placed forward Colin Wilson (lower body) on injured reserve; he missed the past three games. Wilson has 17 points (six goals, 11 assists) in 38 games.
