Sportsnet will televise "Rogers Hometown Hockey" on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET, prior to the game between the Edmonton Oilers and Winnipeg Jets. The location this week is St. Albert, Alberta, and the show will celebrate the history of hockey in the city.

Among the features airing on the pregame show:

* Hall of Fame member Mark Messier discusses Northlands Coliseum in Edmonton (now called Rexall Place), where he helped the Edmonton Oilers win the Stanley Cup five times in seven seasons. This is the final season the Oilers will play at Rexall Place.

* Colorado Avalanche forward Jarome Iginla and defenseman Nick Holden grew up in St. Albert, Alberta. Holden idolized Iginla and now gets to play with him in Colorado.

* A look at Akinsdale Arena, where Messier played junior hockey for the St. Albert Saints prior to his NHL career.
