Sportsnet will televise "Rogers Hometown Hockey" on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET, prior to the game between the New York Rangers and Winnipeg Jets. The location this week is Halifax, Nova Scotia, and the show will celebrate the history of hockey in the city.

Among the features airing on the pregame show:

* Jakub Voracek of the Philadelphia Flyers played two seasons with Halifax in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League from 2006-08. When he was there, the Czech Republic forward stayed with a host family, and Voracek reflects on the bond they formed.

* A look at Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby's parade in Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, following the Penguins winning the Stanley Cup last season.
