Robin Lehner starting 9.8

Robin Lehner was the starting goalie for the Vegas Golden Knights in a 3-0 win against the Dallas Stars in Game 2 of the Western Conference Final at Rogers Place in Edmonton on Tuesday.

Lehner, who backed up Marc-Andre Fleury in a 1-0 loss in Game 1 of the best-of-7 series Sunday, made 24 saves for his second consecutive shutout and fourth in seven starts.
"It was good. I thought we played a very good game," Lehner said. "Guys were ready from the start. We outcompeted them today and played a [heck] of a game, so it made it a little easier for me."
Lehner started six games against the Vancouver Canucks in the second round and made 14 saves in a 3-0 Game 7 win Friday. He had three shutouts in that series.
Fleury made 24 saves Sunday after allowing the goal on the first shot he faced.
Lehner is 9-4-0 with a 1.84 goals-against average, .924 save percentage and four shutouts in 13 games this postseason and have allowed two goals or fewer in seven of his past nine games.
Lehner leads the NHL with four shutouts in the Stanley Cup Playoffs and is the fourth goalie in the past 15 seasons with four in a single postseason (Tim Thomas for Boston Bruins and Roberto Luongo for Vancouver Canucks, 2011; Marc-Andre Fleury for Vegas, 2018).
Fleury was 3-1-0 with a 2.27 GAA and .910 save percentage in four postseason games.
Prior to this postseason, Fleury started each of the Golden Knights' first 27 playoff games after they entered the NHL in 2017-18 and helped them reach the Stanley Cup Final in 2018, which they lost to the Washington Capitals.
