BRANDON, Man. - Defenceman Colby Robak scored his second goal of the game two minutes and 12 seconds into overtime to cap a wild 8-7 win for the Brandon Wheat Kings over the Regina Pats Sunday night in Western Hockey League action.
Matt Calvert had two goals and four assists, Brayden Schenn scored twice and added three assists, Alexander Urbom had a goal and two assists and Jesse Sinatynski also scored for Brandon (13-9-2), which never trailed but squandered a four-goal lead with 10 minutes left in regulation.
Jordan Eberle led the Pats (10-11-3) with two goals and three assists. Brett Leffler and Matt Strueby also scored pairs, while Jordan Weal had a goal and three assists.
Jacob De Serres made 38 saves for the Wheat Kings, while Regina starter Dawson Guhle lasted less than 10 minutes, allowing three goals on six shots. Damien Ketlo replaced him and stopped 19 of 24 to take the loss.
