Rintoul scores game-winner on power play as Kootenay downs Chiefs 4-3

CRANBROOK, B.C. - Hayden Rintoul scored the game-winner on a third period power play as the Kootenay Ice edged the Spokane Chiefs 4-3 in Western Hockey League action Friday night.

Max Reinhart, Dustin Sylvester and Brayden McNabb also scored for Kootenay (5-7-0).

Kenton Miller, Mitch Holmberg and Jared Cowen replied for the Chiefs (4-3-1).

Nathan Lieuwen made 35 saves for the Ice, while Spokane netminder Chase Martin stopped 26 shots.
