Ringrose scores in third period as Tigers defeat Oil Kings 5-4 @NHLdotcom

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - Sean Ringrose's goal 4:15 into the third period helped lead the Medicine Hat Tigers to a 5-4 victory over the Edmonton Oil Kings in Western Hockey League action Wednesday.

John Stampohar, Tyler Ennis, Jace Coyle and Brennan Bosch also scored for the Tigers (4-2-3). Brett Breitkreuz had a pair for the Oil Kings (4-4-1), while T.J. Foster and Jeff Lee also scored. Ryan Holfeld stopped 29 shots for the Tigers.

Edmonton starter Cam Lanigan stopped only six of 10 shotsbefore getting hooked at the 9:06 mark of the second period. Dalyn Flette stopped 15 of 16 shots in relief.
