Rinat Valiev scores in overtime, Marlies extend win streak to five games @NHLdotcom

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Rinat Valiev scored 2:21 into overtime as the Toronto Marlies extended their win streak to five games with a 4-3 win over the host Syracuse Crunch on Saturday in American Hockey League action.

T.J. Brenna, Andrew Campbell and Matt Frattin also scored for the Marlies (20-5-1) while Brendan Leipsic tacked on two assists.

Tye McGinn, Matt Taormina and Cameron Darcy supplied the goals for the Crunch (10-10-4), who are on a five-game skid.

Toronto's Antoine Bibeau made 32 saves for the win as Andrei Vasilevskiy turned away 34-of-38 shots for Syracuse.

The Marlies went 1 for 4 on the power play while the Crunch scored once on seven chances with the man advantage.
