Rimmer makes 43 saves, Hughesman scores two as Americans beat Winterhawks @NHLdotcom

PORTLAND, Ore. - Ty Rimmer made 43 saves and Adam Hughesman had a a pair of goals to lead the Tri City Americans over the Portland Winterhawks 4-0 in Western Hockey League play on Sunday night.

Hughesman scored his second goal into an empty net to finish the scoring.

Justin Feser and Brendan Shinnimin had a goal and an assist for Tri City (5-2-0), which was 1-for-7 with the man advantage.

Portland (4-4-0) went scoreless on six power play chances.

Portland's Mac Carruth stopped 18 shots.
