Rimmer makes 42 saves as the Americans shutout the Warriors 5-0 @NHLdotcom

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Ty Rimmer stopped 42 shots as his Tri-City Americans shutout the visiting Moose Jaw Warriors 5-0 on Wednesday in Western Hockey League action.

Brendan Shinnimin and Jordan Messier had two goals apiece for the Americans (30-7-0) while Zachary Yuen scored the other.

Adam Hughesman and Mason Wilgosh set up two goals each as Patrick Holland led all scorers with four assists.

Luke Siemens made 19 saves in a losing effort for the Warriors (24-11-5).

Tri-City went 4 for 9 on the power play while Moose Jaw went 0 for 6.

The victory was the Americans 11th in a row.

Rimmer now leads the WHL in shutouts with four.
