Rimmer makes 23 saves leading the Americans past the Chiefs 4-1 @NHLdotcom

SPOKANE, Wash. - Ty Rimmer made 23 saves, picking up his eight win of the season, as the Tri-City Americans beat the Spokane Chiefs 4-1 Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Drydn Dow, Adam Hughesman, Jordan Messier and Nathan MacMaster each scored for the Americans (12-5-0).

Mike Aviani was the lone scorer for the Chiefs (8-4-1).

Mac Engel allowed three goals on just eight shots, through the first period, and was pulled for Luke Lee-Knight who came in and stopped 16 of 17 shots.

Tri-City went 1-for-3 on the power play as Spokane failed to score on five opportunities with the man advantage.
