BOSTON -- Riley Nash is unlikely to play, and Tommy Wingels is questionable for the Boston Bruins in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference First Round against the Toronto Maple Leafs at TD Garden on Saturday (8 p.m. ET, NBC, CBC, TVAS).

Nash returned to practice Friday wearing a no-contact jersey, but the third-line center is expected to miss his seventh straight game because of a lacerated right ear sustained when he was hit by a shot from teammate Torey Krug on March 31.
"I don't believe he'll play, but we'll make that decision tomorrow. He's trending well, but playing Saturday]*
"Obviously taking a puck to the side of the skull like that isn't going to feel great," Nash said. "I don't know if it was just a little bit of swelling that was causing those symptoms or what not. I think this day and age we've had other guys that have missed some extended periods of time with some head injuries, so I think we may lay on the side of caution."
Wingels, a forward who had five points (two goals, three assists) in 18 games with the Bruins after being acquired in a trade from the Chicago Blackhawks on Feb. 26, left with 11:42 remaining in the third period of Game 1. Cassidy said Wingels was being evaluated.
If Nash isn't ready and Wingels is unavailable for Game 2, Cassidy will decide between rookie forward Ryan Donato and 39-year-old forward Brian Gionta. Each was a healthy scratch for Game 1.
"We'd have to think that one through, which we've already begun doing. I think Ryan played really well when he was here ... we plan on using Ryan, we just want to pick the right time," Cassidy said. "So the answer to the question is, we don't know today."
