Rigby scores winner in 3rd as the Rockets beat the Giants 4-3

VANCOUVER - Carter Rigby scored the winning goal in the third period to give the Kelowna Rockets a 4-3 win over the host Vancouver Giants on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Brett Bulmer and Colton Sissons had a goal and an assist each for the Rockets (18-21-5) while Tyson Baillie also scored.

Cain Franson, Riley Kieser, Tyler Vanscourt replied for the Giants (26-16-2).

Adam Brown stopped 36 shots for the win, and first star of the game, as Jackson Whistle made 11 saves on 15 shots in defeat.

Kelowna went 1 for 2 on the power play while Vancouver was 1 for 5.
