Rieder scores winner with under a minute to play as Rangers edge Storm 4-3 @NHLdotcom

GUELPH, Ont. - Tobias Rieder scored the winning goal with 57 seconds remaining in the third period to lift the Kitchener Rangers over the host Guelph Storm 4-3 on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Rieder also picked up an assist for a two-point game.

Michael Catenacci scored two goals and set up Rieder's winner for the Rangers (25-10-1) while Cody Sol scored the other. Zach Lorentz chipped in with two assists.

Scott Kosmachuk led the Storm (15-16-5) offensively with a goal and an assist as Justin Auger and Zack Mitchell scored a goal each.

Franky Palazzese made 34 saves for the win while Garret Sparks stopped 35 shots in a losing effort.

Kitchener went 2 for 5 on the power play as Guelph scored twice on seven opportunities with the man advantage.
