Rieder and Faksa four points apiece as Rangers beat Otters 6-4 @NHLdotcom

ERIE, Pa. - Tobias Rieder and Radek Faksa each had two goals and two assists as the Kitchener Rangers downed the host Erie Otters 6-4 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Brent Pederson and Andrew Crescenzi also scored for the Rangers (40-22-2), who sit third in the Western Conference, while Ryan Murphy and Ben Thompson picked up two assists apiece.

Anthony Cortellessa scored twice for the Otters (10-48-6), who have lost four straight and sit last in the entire league, Mac McDonnell had a goal and an assist and Jake Evans had a single goal.

John Gibson made 32 saves for his 19th win of the season while Keinan Brown stopped 33 shots in a losing effort.

Kitchener scored on its only power-play opportunity as Erie failed to score on four chances with the man advantage.
