by Staff

Former Chicago Blackhawks forward Brad Richards will celebrate with the Stanley Cup in his home town of Murray Harbour, Prince Edward Island on Tuesday, and was on a plane on Monday with his son, Luca, and the Cup, heading there.

There is expected to be a parade in the town with Richards and the Cup on a boat.

Richards, who won the Cup with the Tampa Bay Lightning and brought it to Murray Harbour in 2004, had three goals and 14 points in 23 Stanley Cup Playoff games. He signed a one-year contract with the Detroit Red Wings on July 1.
