Report: USNTDP's Rolston to coach AHL Rochester @NHL
The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle is reporting U.S. National Team Development Program coach Ron Rolston will be named the next coach of the Rochester Americans, the American Hockey League affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres.

The newspaper is reporting the announcement will be made Wednesday.

Rolston will replace Chuck Weber, who coached the team last season when it was affiliated with the Florida Panthers. Buffalo owner Terry Pegula purchased the Americans last month and converted them to a Sabres affiliate.

Rolston, 44, has spent the last seven seasons coaching the under-17 and under-18 teams at the USNTDP, based in Ann Arbor, Mich. He coached the U.S. at the World Junior Championship twice, winning a bronze medal in 2007, and he also won gold in 2005 and 2009 for the U.S. at the World Under-18 Championship.
